Why a designed PDF fails parsers
Many Canva and similar templates put your name in a text box, split skills into two columns, or draw lines as images. Applicant tracking software then skips the heading or jumbles dates. Recruiters never see the designed page if the parser drops you.
Check the file on the free ATS checker. Low parse rate is usually columns or graphics — not your experience. Then upload the draft into MyPerfectResumes and keep the facts on an ATS layout.
